Water Only Cutting

Water Only cutting works by producing a high velocity fluid jet, at pressures up to 3200 bar, at the work piece the jet is travelling at twice the speed of sound.

The jet is focused through a sapphire or diamond orifice, the size of which is dependant on the material being cut.

Typical jet sizes rang from 0.1mm to 0.25mm diameter.
